At this stage, BackOps AI offers two powerful tools Dock and Relay to help logistics and supply chain teams automate daily operations and reduce manual overhead across communication channels and systems.

Dock: AI for Slack, Outlook & Web

Dock is your everyday AI teammate, built into Slack and Outlook. It helps teams automate email and message workflows, respond faster, and operate more efficiently without toggling between systems or manually digging through data.

Current functionalities include:

  • Slack & Outlook Integration
    Dock integrates directly into Slack and Outlook, allowing users to ask questions about orders, claims, or shipments and receive instant, AI-generated responses or draft replies right where they work.

  • Smart Reply Generation
    Dock understands incoming customer messages and drafts accurate responses based on historical context, system data, and internal SOPs saving agents time on every ticket.

  • Follow-Up Automation
    Dock helps teams stay on top of open issues by generating follow-up messages and reminders for delayed shipments, claims, or pending actions.

  • Knowledge Hub Integration
    Teams can upload playbooks, SOPs, or historical FAQs to a centralized knowledge hub. Dock references this content to generate contextual replies and provide consistent answers.

  • System Data Sync

Relay is BackOps’ automation engine that powers deeper workflows, triggering back-end actions based on customer inquiries automating what would otherwise require human coordination.


Relay currently supports the following capabilities:

    Relay retrieves live order information from your system and answers customer inquiries with real-time updates, including delivery progress and shipment tracking links.

  • Change of Address Requests
    Relay allows customers to update shipping addresses before fulfillment. It automatically captures and processes the change in your system, helping avoid delivery issues.

  • Reshipment Requests
    When a package is lost, damaged, or incorrect, Relay can automatically trigger a reshipment through your ERP or carrier system ensuring quick resolution and clear communication.

  • Claim Management
    Relay tracks every shipping claim submitted (e.g., lost or damaged goods) and manages its lifecycle from filing to resolution. Teams can view claim status updates and get alerts when action is needed.

  • Automatic Claim Filing
    Relay directly files shipping claims with carriers like UPS and USPS based on set rules and documentation. This eliminates the need for agents to log in and file manually.
